3 / 4 CUP SUGAR
1 EGG
5 TBSP FLOUR
PINCH OF SALT
1 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 TSP VANILLA
1 CUP PEELED & GRATED GRANNY SMITH APPLES
1/2 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
CREAM TOGETHER SUGAR AND EGG, THEN STIR IN DRY INGREDIENTS & VANILLA.
FOLD IN APPLES & NUTS AND
POUR INTO BUTTERED 9-INCH PIE TIN.
DO NOT FILL PIE TIN TOO FULL, AS MIXTURE RISES WHILE BAKING AND MAY RUN OVER.
BAKE AT 350? FOR 40 TO 45 MINUTES. SERVE IN WEDGES WHILE STILL SLIGHTLY WARM. GOOD WITH ICE CREAM.
